Dayle Cosway is a business woman and analyst who is passionate about helping to promote sustainable behavior in landscapes.
Dayle created Sunscape Applications to provide landscape professionals with an easy-to-use tool for sustainable landscape planning and to provide homeowners and landowners with knowledge of sun exposure on their property.
Planting in the right place helps reduce the use of earth harmful chemicals and the use of excess water in landscapes.
Locating gardens and outdoor living and recreation areas, to get the right sun exposure at the right time, promotes gardens that thrive naturally with minimal maintenance, and creates beautiful, functional outdoor spaces that ensure comfort and enjoyment.

The Journey to Sunscape
Years of gardening education and experience taught me that putting plants in the right place was crucial to plant health and survival – but where in my landscape was the sun exposure the plants needed?
Through analysis, I discovered a method that consistently worked to accurately identify sun exposure areas. I wrote and published the method in Sunscaping - A New Tool for Every Gardener.
Sunscape Applications expand upon the proven ability of my method to map microbiome areas to help create more successful, enduring landscapes.
Our applications are the result of the combined knowledge and experience of specialists in sustainable gardening principals and application development for mapping sun energy.
